Artist Statement
“Guided by gratitude and the belief that perfection is overrated, I reclaim discarded items and packaging and renew each by covering them with the abundant colors within me. This practice quiets my mind as I follow a beacon of energy into repeating pattern sequences I work until each motif is complete. Like focused meditation, an intimate silence settles as ink flows from the pen or paint glides from the brush.
