It has been a while since I have written anything here.
Life has simply been very full.
Not in a frantic way. Not in a “too much” way. Just full.
Full of people. Full of ideas. Full of conversations. Full of things beginning to take shape.
I have spent much of this past month working with people who care deeply about what they are doing. Each person brings something different. Some bring history. Some bring experience. Some bring creativity. Some bring energy. Some bring a willingness to show up and do whatever needs doing.
And I keep noticing how much I appreciate that.
There is something really wonderful about being around people who are committed to a cause together, even though they may each come to it from a completely different place.
No one contributes in exactly the same way.
They shouldn’t.
That is part of what makes it work.
I have found myself in rooms, conversations, meetings and moments lately thinking, this is good. This matters. I am lucky to be here.
At this point in my life, I am especially grateful for the opportunity to still be learning, still creating, still meeting new people, still having ideas, and still finding places where I can be useful.
I don’t know that I need life to slow down.
I think I just want to keep noticing how full it is.
